Wanted to pass along the review of my Etsy site that was done by "Being Frugal and Making it Work" This has been done in conection with a give way. Go to her site and check it out.

Also, let any of your friends that might me interested know.

Jolene's Creations Etsy Shop - Handmade Baby Items (Review & Giveaway)

Over the past few months I've been browsing through a variety of Etsy shops. As I look through all of their wonderful handmade creations, I'm amazed and wish that I had half of their talent.

Jolene's Creations is an Etsy Shop that has lovely handmade baby items. Car seat covers, receiving blankets, burp cloths, changing pads, and nursing covers. You can choose to purchase the items individually or in a set.

I chose the grey and paisley polka dot car seat cover. I love how the different fabrics and patterns create a unique baby accessory.
The car seat canopy keeps your baby protected from wind, rain, cold, heat, germs, also provides a privacy barrier from well meaning admirers when baby wants to sleep!

Made from 100% cotton and chenille, they wash up nicely and will last a very long time. It is clear by the quality of these items that a lot of time, hard work and love went into each one of them.

These unique handmade baby items make the perfect gift for any baby shower or expecting parents. Of course, if you love Jolene's Creations as much as I do - you're going to want them for your baby too!

Starting the baby's room

My youngest daughter recently had her first baby. What fun!!!! While waiting, they had fun gathering furniture, fixing them up and decorating a room for the baby.
They picked the theme of Jungle Animals.

To start with they were given this glider, Alison decided she wanted to recover it with a zebra print.
They also got a crib and wanted to do sheets, bumper pads and a dust ruffle for it.
So we all went to work....
Byron started sewing the sheet.
Alison started on the glider.
 Here they are working together:
Alison got the foot stool recovered.
Byron finished the sheet.
I did the bumper pads.
Tune in later to see how Byron painted the room and see it all put together.
